Bard, Google's first drive into the generative ai space following OpenAi's ChatGpt success has now changed its name to Gemini.
Gemini is the next advancement of the models driving Bard and Google see the name change as significant and not being 'just a name change;' but a reflection of their more advanced technology. See more on Gemma and Gemini here.

Google state that the new Gemini model has
"...incredible reasoning, coding, and creative collaboration. From personal tutor to fellow brainstormer and everything in between, Gemini Advanced is the new way to AI."
With this change Google's Duet Ai becomes Gemini for Workspace which will help team members write, collaborate, and create in customer's Google One AI Premium plans.
In addition Gemini will help developers as it arrives in Google Cloud.
